Borrowed Black Hands (Panel Discussion)
February 5th | 7 PM EST
When we look at traditional school systems and see the education that they are providing in subject areas such as history, the importance of ensuring the full picture and story are being shared is clear and transparent. We are going to take a walk through history dating back to the 1400s and discuss the impact and innovations of African Americans in food, spirits, wine, presidential campaigns and even in activism all the way to current day. Each panelist will be discussing moments in history that resonate and inspire them to continue the work that they are doing in their respective fields, positions and communities.
Panelists: Cha McCoy, Lynn House, Adrian E. Miller, Tiffanie Barriere, and Duane Sylvestre.
