Crafting Haikus with Sherry & Chantal Tseng

Join us for a fun creative workshop where we make a few cocktail recipes and write a few haikus. Learn a little about Lustau Sherry and its cocktail mixability and also learn the basics to writing haiku. We will explore common themes and branch out to include sherry itself as an inspiration for crafting poetry.

Goals for this workshop will be to discuss the tasting notes of our selected sherries and then to create poems to pair. Following that we will also go over a few selected cocktails and the haikus I've paired with them. We'll toast our favorite words and then learn about the affinity for certain spirits that mix well with each style of sherry. Bring poems in advance or write them as we go along. Up to you!
